Every big shop started as something small

Something Start is an independent mobile game studio in Watthana, Bangkok. We design cosy tiny-business games for Android, where the player opens a small street stall and grows it step by step into a well-loved neighbourhood shop.

The games are about small decisions: what to sell today, how to arrange the counter and when to try something new.

Customers in our designs have their own habits and favourite items, so paying attention pays off. Mistakes are gentle, as an unsold batch simply becomes tomorrow's discount, and progress is saved on the phone. The shops are inspired by Bangkok street food and corner stores, with no real brands or prices. Seasons and festivals bring new customers and recipes, from Songkran drinks to cool-season soups, and a small notebook records every regular's favourites. There is no time pressure; a slow day is simply a chance to try a new idea or tidy the counter, and the street around the shop grows livelier as the player's reputation spreads.
