SOMETHING START CO., LTD. (บริษัท ซัมธิง สตาร์ท จำกัด) is a limited company registered in Thailand under juristic person number 0105568006279. It operates somethingstart.vip and publishes games as Something Start, an independent mobile game studio.

SOMETHING START CO., LTD. is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy under the Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (PDPA). Its registered head office, as recorded by the Department of Business Development (DBD), is 26/3 ซอย ปรีดีพนมยงค์ 2 ถนนสุขุมวิท 71 แขวงพระโขนงเหนือ เขตวัฒนา กรุงเทพมหานคร.

This policy explains what Something Start collects through the website and through correspondence, why, for how long, who processes it for us and what rights you have.

Apps this policy covers

This policy currently covers the somethingstart.vip website and email contact or postal correspondence with Something Start.

We do not currently publish any mobile apps on the Something Start website, so no app name, package name, SDK or Android permission is described here.

When Something Start releases a game on Google Play, that app will receive a separate policy at its own address on somethingstart.vip, naming the app and its exact package name, following its Data Safety answers and listing its SDKs and permissions.

Information we collect

The Something Start website has no accounts, forms, comments or payments. You do not need to give us personal data to read it.

Our hosting provider processes technical request data for us: IP address, requested page, time of request, browser type and, if sent, the referring page.

Something Start runs no analytics software, advertising pixels or tracking scripts on the website.

If you write to Something Start, we receive your name, contact address and anything you choose to include. Please do not send passwords, payment details, health information or national ID numbers.

Each future Something Start app policy will follow the Google Play Data Safety categories and state whether data stays on the device or leaves it.

How we use information

Something Start uses request data only to deliver pages, keep somethingstart.vip secure and investigate misuse or faults.

Something Start uses correspondence to reply, keep a record of our answer and handle follow-up requests.

Under the PDPA our lawful bases are legitimate interests in running the website and answering enquiries, and compliance with legal obligations where Thai law requires records to be kept.

Something Start does not sell personal data, does not use it for advertising or profiling and makes no decisions about you by automated means alone.

Third-party services and SDKs

The Something Start website includes no third-party SDKs, analytics libraries, social plugins, externally loaded fonts or advertising.

Cloudflare, Inc. hosts somethingstart.vip and acts as our processor for request data. Its policy is at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.

Any SDK used in a future Something Start game will be named, with a link to its policy, in that game's own policy.

Data retention and deletion

Cloudflare keeps request logs briefly under its own settings; Something Start does not copy them into another system.

Something Start keeps correspondence for up to 18 months after a matter closes, unless a longer period is needed for a legal claim or a duty under Thai law.

You may ask us to delete your correspondence at any time. We will do so unless the law requires us to keep it, and will tell you if so.

The website stores nothing on your device, so there is no local website data to remove.

Children

The Something Start website is a general company site and is not directed at children under 13.

We do not knowingly collect personal data from children through somethingstart.vip. If a child has written to us, tell us and we will delete the message.

Each future Something Start game policy will state its intended age group and how it meets the rules for that audience.

Permissions

The Something Start website requests no device permissions.

Visiting somethingstart.vip never asks for your camera, microphone, location, contacts, photos, files or notifications.

When Something Start publishes an Android game, its policy will list every permission in the inspected build and explain why it is needed.

Your rights

Under the PDPA you may ask Something Start for access to and a copy of your personal data, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability where applicable, and withdrawal of any consent you gave.

Write to SOMETHING START CO., LTD. using the details in Contact us. We aim to reply within 30 days and may ask for reasonable proof of identity before releasing personal data.

You may also complain to the Personal Data Protection Committee (PDPC) at pdpc.or.th. We would appreciate the chance to resolve the matter first.

International transfers

Something Start is run from Thailand.

Cloudflare operates a global network, so request data may be processed outside Thailand, including in the United States and Singapore.

Where that happens we rely on Cloudflare's data processing terms and the safeguards permitted under sections 28 and 29 of the PDPA.
